Awssome And MontyCloud Partner To Support Fast Vendors On AWS Marketplace

Awssome – a powerful platform that enables B2B SaaS vendors to quickly onboard to the AWS Marketplace – has teamed up with MontyCloud – a no-code CloudOps solution – to accelerate vendors ability to transact at scale through the AWS Marketplace. The partnership will enable sellers to publish and transact much quicker.


November 22, 2024 – Awssome and MontyCloud have today announced a strategic partnership that brings MontyCloud’s AWS Well-Architected Framework automation into the Awssome publishing platform, so sellers can start transacting faster through the AWS Marketplace.

AWS Marketplace simplifies the procurement of B2B software and professional services by providing buyers with a digital catalog of solutions from thousands of partners. ISVs, solution integrators, and Managed Services Providers (MSPs) need solutions to help them list and manage their listings as they scale.

Awssome provides customers with a single, user-friendly platform to streamline the publishing process together with a robust Go To Market (GTM) strategy. This includes the structure of marketplace offers, including order management integration and pricing (either usage- or contract-based).

One of the biggest opportunities to help vendors scale is through the AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR) which helps identify and address optimization opportunities and technical risks. Once an ISV partner completes the FTR process, FTR approval enables partners to earn a ‘Reviewed by AWS’ solutions badge, unlock funding benefits, and eligibility to participate in AWS Partner Programs. It can be a long process that can be difficult to find time for with competing business priorities.

MontyCloud’s Well-Architected Framework automation identifies and remediates findings in minutes, so partners can optimize for costs and resiliency while addressing security and compliance findings. Combined with Awssome, it will provide deeper observability, improved visibility, and richer technical insights for customers.

Passing the FTR opens the door to co-selling opportunities with AWS itself, leveraging the ability to sell with Account Executives from AWS. The new partnership will enable AWS Marketplace vendors to accelerate through the technical audit, publish their offer, and start transacting much faster.
